Art from the Collection of Jonathan Green and Richard Weedman

SDAAMFA partnered with the SDSU Downtown Gallery to present an exhibition introducing art from the collection of renowned artist Jonathan Green and his partner and studio director, Richard Weedman.

The exhibition featured some of the most distinguished African American artists of the 20th century as well as Cuban, South American and Latino artist. We also included art by two emerging artists: Fletcher Williams lll and Reynier Llanes. They are unbridled in their approach to subject matter, methods and materials and have created art that is awe-inspiring.
